Privacy
What the game keeps about you, why, and how to delete it. There are no ads and no analytics.
On this device
Games against the computer, puzzle and lesson progress, and your settings stay in this browser’s storage. They never leave the device. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.
When you play online
- Your name and a random id. The id lives in a cookie so the game knows you next time. There’s no email or password.
- Finished games: the moves, the result and both players’ names, so both of you can see them in your history. A replay is public only if one of you shares its link.
- Chat stays in the game’s room, which deletes itself after 7 days without use.
- Voice calls go straight between the two players, or through Cloudflare’s relay on strict networks. They’re never recorded.
- Notifications, if you turn them on: the address your browser gives for delivering them.
- Your network address is used to slow down anyone sending too many requests, and to keep matchmaking from pairing two accounts on one connection.
Rated play
A passkey stores only its public key here; your fingerprint or face never leaves your device. Signing in with it keeps a session with the network address and browser it came from. Ratings are kept per rule set, and you appear on the leaderboard only if you choose to. Blocks and reports are kept so matchmaking and moderation can use them.
Where it’s kept
Everything online is stored on Cloudflare, which runs the game’s servers.
Delete your online data
This deletes your passkey, sign-in sessions, ratings, notification settings, blocks and the reports you made, and signs you out on every device. You leave any league that hasn’t started, and one you made that hasn’t started is deleted. Your finished games, and leagues that have started, stay for the other players, but your name on them becomes “Deleted player”, straight away in games still in progress too. It can’t be undone.
